Restaurants begin to open building doors-from Hometown Gazette June 3, 2020

by Andrea Tennyson

Local restaurants were allowed to open their dining room doors on Monday with some restrictions that have to be in place via Executive Order No. 2020-97.

Restaurants must limit their capacity to 50% of their normal seating area, they must require six feet between groups at different tables or bar tops, and much more. Many in the area were excited about dining options re-opening in Michigan and many restaurants in the area offered food and drink specials for the day. A particularly popular special included 50% off Coronas at The Bucket on that day. The Bucket, Broadway Grille, Five Star Pizza, Union Station, Fabianos, Copper Kettle, The Office, the Athens VFW, the Whistle Stop, the Seven Deuces, and Wade's Pizza are all open and ready your business.

Make sure to stop in for dinner and say hello.
